Dye Lab with Grace from Gnome Depot Fibers

Dive into the world of color at Dye Lab - this summer/fall in our wet room here at The Bloomin' Spindle! 

Grace Cocking is the brilliant brains behind all of the captivating hand-dyed yarn brand, Gnome Depot Fibers. With 20 years of knitting & crocheting experience, 14 years of teaching experience, and 9 years of yarn dyeing experience, Grace will guide you through the process to take a natural superwash yarn to your very own custom colorway. Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters who are looking to add a new fiber art to their repetoire, this workshop will introduce you to color theory, kettle dying, hand painting, and speckles. Sessions will be limited to 8 participants per session.

Tickets include: 

• One 3 hour workshop lesson on whichever day you'd prefer

• One skein of Enoki fingering weight yarn (80% SW Merino Wool/ 20% Nylon) or Porcini worsted weight yarn (100% SW Merino Wool)

  **additional skeins will be available for purchase on day of if you'd like to dye more than 1 skein

Please wear closed toe shoes that are comfortable for standing and clothing that you don't mind if they get stained with dye.

Please note:  This class is intended for amateur dyers and personal use.  This will not cover professional, production techniques.

Classes are nonrefundable if cancelled less than 1 week from class start time.  We cannot take any walk ins or payments at the door.
