Mondays, March 4 & 11 from 6PM - 8PM
Description: Learn the brioche stitch while making this 2 color cowl. We're kicking off this knit-along so that those who aren't joining us at Lamb Camp can still join along in the fun of Mitchell Wool. Those that are joining us at the retreat, how fun would it be for the whole group to arrive with an FO in American Fiber! This class includes 2 sessions of guided instruction as well as 2 skeins of Mitchell Wool Co's American Fiber Worsted yarn. You get to choose whichever two colors you love the best to make this squish-tastic cowl. Will it be Piglet, Lamb, Tractor, Sky, or Barn?
Prerequisites: Participants should be confident in basic knitting skills, including casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off. We'll help you with the rest!
Homework: No homework for this project!
Materials to bring along:
- US8 circular needles, 32”
- darning needle
- stitch markers
- 2 skeins of contrasting worsted weight yarn (if choosing the 'Class Only' ticket option)
From casting on to weaving in the ends, when you purchase a class at the Bloomin' Spindle, we will support you until your sweater is complete. After March 11th, if Mondays work for you, feel free to continue to join the table those evenings. Alternatively, you can join us on Thursday KAL nights or Wednesday Stitch Nights.
We welcome young knitters 16 and under in private lessons accompanied by an adult guardian. Please call the store for available times.
