About the event

Learn how to begin a hat from eight little stitches using double pointed needles, my preferred way to teach beginners who are learning small circumference knitting in the round.  Ysolda Teague uses a fun and easy cast on technique that will help you keep your needles stable as you increase your hat all the way to the correct size and gauge for the knitworthy wearer!  We will spend the first class getting everyone on their way to increase bliss, and then you will have two weeks to knit the stockinette section anywhere you like.  Drop in on knit night Wednesdays to show us your progress, or ask for assistance anytime during the week if you get stuck.  Then we will meet as a formal class once more to learn the decreasing techniques.

One payment of $50 covers instruction for both classes, pattern and tapestry needle.  If you purchase your yarn for the class here at The Bloomin' Spindle, enjoy a 10% off thank you from your instructor, Robin Hagen!

Sessions are May 29th and June 12th.  We are here to support you from the beginning to the end of making this hat!  I can't wait to cast on with you!
