About the event
Love playing with colors and textures in your fiber art? Then carding is for you! Join Willa Kohn of What Willa Make? to learn the ins and outs of how to card fiber into a unique, bespoke art batt. Willa will guide you through how to use the drum carder, and how to get the color placement, the blending, and the textures you want to see in you squishy, lofty fiber.
You'll have the opportunity to play with all types of fiber: plant base dyes, professionally hand-dyed, merinos, silks, and a little bit of sparkle!
All supplies will be provided.Â
Each class participant will take home their custom 4 oz art batt and a special project bag to place it in for safe keeping in transit.
Limited class size of 8 per session to allow for each attendee to get a little 1-1 time with the drum-carder!
