Learn to Make Toe Up Socks!

Description: This three week class will get you hooked on toe up socks! Expert instruction from Robin will help you understand the ins and outs of this amazing cast-on, as well as the feat of engineering that is turning a heel!  Get ready to enjoy this process with friends and keep coming in the store anytime Wednesday - Friday for meetups for support until you finish your sock.  We will get you to the end - calf tube or no calf tube! 

Tools & Supplies: Feel free to bring your own needles, but we ask that you purchase your sock yarn here for class.  (Private lessons in store will accodomate those with stash yarn from home!  Call for availability)

Pattern: The store will provide a sock pattern, but you may also purchase any toe up pattern you wish.  Robin will help you make the sock you want. Stop by the store sometime before your class begins, and our staff will help you choose a pattern and yarn.

What you need to know: You will need to be comfortable with knitting, purling, basic cast-ons and bind-offs.  Knowlege of increasing and decreasing stitches a plus.

What you'll learn: Judy's magic cast-on and keeping your stitches perfectly aligned for an invisible seam! Increases, decreases, magic loop knitting and short rows.
