Characteristics: This is not your craft store cotton! Chesapeake is a well-spun, beautifully soft fiber that is comfortable for all skin types. It does not have elasticity and will not hold its shape for items like socks or negative-ease garments, but the matte fibers have good hold for a plant fiber and will cooperate for cables, colorwork, shawls and garments, as well as baby items. Tends to have a softer and slightly less saturated color when compared to Atlantic Pima or Severn Tencel.
