A class on knitting basics for kids age 6-12
Event Description
Have a crafty and determined child who is ready to enter the world of fiber art? Our learn to knit class will teach how to cast on and perform a basic knit stitch. - If your child is on the younger age range, often a child who is ready and able to tie their shoes has the dexterity needed to learn to knit. The other factor is their patience and persistence with a craft that is done in multiple stages and not completed in a single sitting. - Child will be provided with a pair of needles and small ball of wool. The caregiver will NOT be given supplies unless they contact the shop ahead of time to request and pay for their own set of materials. - This is not a drop off class, a caregiver must be present at the shop while the child is learning. We have tea and coffee available while you wait. - For further steps after the first class, you are welcome to book this class a second time and indicate that your child is ready for their next steps.

Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy All private lessons are non-refundable. Reschedule Policy If your originally scheduled lesson time no longer works for you, please use the reschedule link in your confirmation email or reach out to us right away. Lessons need to be rescheduled at least 12 hours before lesson start time, otherwise they will be considered cancelled. Cancellation Policy To cancel a lesson, please email us or use the cancel link in your confirmation email. Once a lesson is cancelled it cannot be rescheduled and you will need to repurchase for a new lesson. No Show Policy No show lessons will be considered a cancellation, and therefore we will not offer any rescheduling options for that past lesson. A new lesson must be purchased to rebook. We know these sound like strict policies, but since we are a small team we schedule private lessons outside of regular store hours or we have to have another staff member cover the shop so that we can have a dedicated one-on-one time with you.
