In April we will be reading Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez, a new book in the Part of Your World Series we read from last year! The book releases April 1st.

Due to a busy April for everyone, we will have one meetup to discuss the entire book on April 27th at noon. I'll have more stickers for our book journals so be sure to bring your journals and supplies! It was suggested that for May we try coming up with short pitches for the next book choice and everyone can vote on their favorite one - if you're interested, come prepared with your May book choice pitch 😀

Hi folks, I tested positive for Covid this am and I won't be in the clear for this Sunday's meetup. I have a few propositions for you guys:

A. Postpone for 1 week and meet on 3/16 & 3/23 back to back

B. Cancel this week's meetup and have 1 meet up on 3/23

C. Have a virtual meetup on google meetups this week to keep the schedule

For those who missed today's meeting - In March we will be reading Our Hideous Progeny by C.E. McGill.

We will be reading through the end of chapter 16/end of Part II for our meeting on March 9th (at noon). I'll have some new stickers to share, so be sure to bring your journals and journaling supplies to work on during the meeting 😊

I know a few people will be out of town or unable to make book club this upcoming Sunday when we will be picking out the book for March. If you have a suggestion and are unable to make it this Sunday, let me know and I can put your suggestion in the salad bowl on your behalf!

In February we will be reading the newest release by Alice Feeney, Beautiful Ugly.

Read through chapter the end of chapter 28 for the February 9th (at noon) meeting, and we'll chat about the rest of the book at our wrap-up meeting on February 23rd (at noon).

We're getting crafty!

This month, we're switching things up after being inspired by our last book club read, The Sewing Machine. Rather than having commemorative stitch markers made, we'll be bringing a notebook to decorate a la junk journal and log all of our book club reads in.
